You need to ask the following questions before you make a choice of termite companies.

1. What is your hourly rate per man hour?

2. How many hours will it take?

3. What chemical are you using?

4. How much will you need?

5. What is your cost?

6. How much are you charging me?

7. What other charges will I incur?

If your company won't or the salesperson cannot provide you with this information. Find another company!

Once you have that information then use the following to get your estimate:

_____(# of man hours) x$ ____(cost per hour)=$______labor cost

$__________(total labor) + (Chemical cost )_________+ MARKUP_____= Cost

Now ask the following questions:

• Is my contract a lifetime contract?

• How long is my renewal price guaranteed?

      Be careful of contracts that say the company may adjust price at anytime.

          It is only lifetime as long as you can afford it.

• Do I have a repair warranty? If not why?

• Is my estimate a "do not exceed estimate"?
